Z+F Displays Stripping and Crimping Systems
Bridgeville, PA — The new UNIC-GV stripper-crimper, from Z+F USA, Inc., enables the processing of five ferrules on reel with different cross- sections, without tool or ferrule changes.
Ferrules on reel that range from 20 to 14 AWG (0.5 to 2.5 mm2), with crimping lengths of 0.3 or 0.4 in. (8 or 10 mm) can be processed with no downtime. This is also the case for ferrules on reel for multi-standard conductors.
Also, the company’s AI 01 and AI 04 stripping machines, as well as the ECM 04 stripper-crimper are now available as battery driven models. This offers users additional spatial flexibility during wire processing.

quality control is ensured when pro- cessing ferrules with plastic collars. The AM 03 C was developed for pro- cessing small, loose male and female contacts and for small cross-sections. The machine has a compact design, short in-feed length of 0.5 in. (13 mm) and short cycle times.
The UNICUT 8017 is an electri- cal cutting machine with a CAE data interface. Data can be generated directly on the machine or on a PC. It can then either process the project automatically in batch production or in stop-and-go mode with its wiring assistant.
The SC 05 universal handles insulated and uninsulated ferrules that range from 20 to 12 AWG (0.5 to 4 mm2) in size, as well as twin fer- rules from 2 x 20 to 2 x 14 AWG (2 x 0.5 to 2 x 2.5 mm2), each with crimp- ing lengths from 0.24 to 0.7 in. (6 to 18 mm).
