Syosset, NY — ISL Products International has launched its Continuous Source Manufacturing (CSM) program. CSM is a suite of customizable services developed to extend the lifecycle of a broad range of products, providing OEMs with an ongo- ing manufacturing resource for obsolete, EOL (end-of-life) parts. The company’s CSM services include the mod-
ification or replication of the physical, electrical and acoustical properties of essentially any elec- tronic and electromechanical device, with the exception of semiconductor devices. ISL’s design engineers work together with
OEMs to identify the most cost-effective and effi- cient CSM solutions to manufacture a form-fit- function (FFF) replacement for the part that has gone EOL. Solutions encompass simply tweaking

deep fryers by a globally recognized fast food chain, as well as a spur gear motor for automated locking systems to meet the customer’s requirement for

ments of Standard UL-1004-6 for Servo and Stepper Motors, UL 1004- 1 Standard for Rotating Electrical Machines and Canadian CSA Standard C22.2 No. 100-14 for Motors and Generators. The stepper motors are avail-
able in both single- and double-shaft versions in NEMA frame sizes 17 through 34, with torque values from 31 to 1,841 oz-in. (0.22 to 13 N-m). These motors are designed to work optimally with the company’s step- per drives to ensure smooth motion and high performance.
