IF PERFORMANCE COUNTS,
IF RELIABILITY COUNTS,
INTERCONNECTS COUNTS A LOT.
THEN YOUR CHOICE OF
Maintaining a seamless, uninterrupted signal is the objective for any electronic system. Regardless of how elegantly designed or sophisticated the individual components might be, continuity and reliability will only be as good as the interconnects that link them. Machined pin receptacles from Mill-Max can make the difference between a product that only performs adequately and an exceptional product that lasts.

Aven Intros ESD-Safe Bi- and Trinocular Microscope Systems
Ann Arbor, MI — Aven’s ESD-safe, true binocular and trinocular stereo zoom microscope systems offer an ex- cellent zoom ratio (7.46:1) with super- sharp 3D images from edge to edge, a field of view of 1.4 to 0.14 in. (34.3 to 3.6 mm), and a 4.3 in. (10.8 cm) work- ing distance. The ESD-safe coating is designed to meet the needs of applica- tions in static-sensitive environments. These systems offer 6.7 to 50x
magnification with the included 10x eyepieces. The energy-saving, day- light, 60 LED ring light in the focus mount, with a dimmer control built into the PLED stand, significantly reduces power consumption, ensur- ing a flicker-free experience that low- ers energy costs and enhances pro- ductivity. The microscopes include fine and coarse focusing for precise adjustments. The graduations on the zoom knob show operators the exact magnifications at which they are working, which is especially useful when specific adjustments are neces- sary. Magnification can be further
extended with optional 15 and 20x eyepieces.

Henkel Formulates New Liquid Gap Filler
Irvine, CA — Building on the BERG - QUIST brand thermal management portfolio, Henkel has developed a brand-new, liquid gap filler material that offers the advantage of thermal interface material (TIM) reworkabili- ty, without sacrifices in thermal con- ductivity or automation performance. BERG QUIST gap filler TGF 1500RW delivers these valuable benefits in a single material, providing process flex- ibility and post-assembly adaptability. The new TIM is a single-part,
cure-in-place liquid gap filler that can be used with automated dispensing equipment for high-volume manufac- turing. Since the material is applied as a liquid, it is suitable for miniaturized, high-density assemblies and complex architectures, penetrating small gaps for complete coverage. Once cured, the material provides excellent surface contact and thermal transfer with a conductivity of 1.5 W/m-K, and also delivers low- and high-temperature mechanical and chemical stability. According to the company, the
material’s peelability is another advan- tage. Traditional cure-in-place TIMs usually require high force for disas-
sembly, which can result in permanent damage to components and substrates. Supply chain simplification is an-
other advantage of BERG QUIST gap filler TGF 1500RW. The material fa-

cilitates infinite thickness variations and accommodates multiple dimen- sions, allowing a single material to be used for many products and applica- tions. TIMs in pad or film formats are supplied in predetermined die cut shapes and thickness, each with its
own part number. Contact: Henkel Electronic Ma-
