Unit Manager Alpharetta, GA — Dr. Jörg Handke is now the new manager of the company’s “systems” business unit. IPTE Germany GmbH is a subsidiary of IPTE Facto- ry Automation. Dr. Handke holds a Ph.D. in physics and is a certified project manager. He has far-reaching experience and knowledge in the fields of process development, special machinery and plant construction, strategic and organizational planning, production management, and customer service. Dr. Handke’s previous tasks ranged from construction to assembly, project acqui- sition, claim management, and project work. and New Hire -- Scott Hunter Central Falls, RI — Wardwell has announced the retirement of Steven El- derkin, as well as the appointment of Scott Hunter. Mr. Elderkin’s retirement comes after spending 44 and a half years at the company and holding a vari- ety of positions. Over the last two decades, his roles included supervisor of as- sembly and customer service technician. Mr. Hunter is Wardwell’s new sales engineer.
