Mycronic: Line Automation, Dispensing and Inspection Equipment


Rowley, MA — Mycronic is expanding its range of next-generation line automation, dispensing and inspection equipment for electronic assembly. Inspection solutions recently became a part of the company’s product portfolio with the acquisition of Vi TECHNOLOGY. Mycronic offers its next-gen MYPro series produc- tion line. Completely software-driven and opera- tor-independent, the MYPro series combines com- prehensive factory connectivity and real-time data into a single, fully automated production solution. The MYPro line includes the MY700 jet print-


er and dispenser, which jets both solder paste and a wide range of adhesives at high speeds, as well as the MY300 pick-and-place machines, which deliver higher real speeds and larger feeder capac- ities in a 40 percent smaller machine footprint than previous versions.

Mycronic is now offering 3D inspection systems and process improvement software. New inspec- tions systems will include the PI series for 3D SPI, the K series for 3D AOI and the SIGMA Link soft- ware suite.


Mycronic has also unveiled its SMD Tower


8000 storage system. The new unit is taller than previous models with a 17 percent increase in feed- er capacity. The new tower provides an automatic, highly efficient, cassette-free component retrieval system close to the production line for quick and smooth changeovers.
