Industry 4.0 SMT Solution from Cogiscan and MIRTEC
Bromont, Quebec, Canada — Cogis- can and MIRTEC have collaborated to create a fully integrated Industry 4.0 solution. MIRTEC’s total remote management system (TRMS) dis- plays data collected from the compa- ny’s line of AOI and SPI systems, as
tion of TRMS that shows how data flows from the Cogiscan Co-NECT middleware for various types of equipment to MIRTEC’s INTEL- LISYS software platform. The pres- entation illustrates how Cogiscan can augment TRMS by enabling it to

well as other equipment in the SMT manufacturing line. The TRMS module is a key part
of MIRTEC’s intelligent factory au- tomation system (INTELLISYS®). This powerful software suite was de- signed and developed to provide manufacturers with a clear view into the manufacturing process, helping them to achieve higher operating ef- ficiencies and to improve quality. This successful integration

marks a major milestone in the part- nership between Cogiscan and MIRTEC to offer a fully integrated Industry 4.0 solution for MIRTEC’s entire range of automated inspection systems and intelligent factory au- tomation software. The companies have collaborated on a demonstra-
display both historical and real-time data collected from non-MIRTEC production equipment. Co-NECT is built on the stan-
dard Cogiscan TTC platform that has been around for more than 15 years. It is designed to adapt to every cus- tomers’ environment, regardless of the mix of machines and software so-
lutions already in place. Contact: Cogiscan, Inc., 28-B

Murata Releases 1W See at SMT Hybrid Pkg., Booth 4-301 Regulated DC-DC Converter
Smyrna, GA — Murata has expanded its product range of embedded-core technology DC-DC converters with
the NXF1 series, a cost-effective, fully regulated, high-isolation con- verter with 3.3 or 5V outputs. Inputs available are nominal 3.3 and 5V in an industry-standard SMT package with a low profile. All parts have con- tinuous short circuit protection with auto restart or latch-off depending on model and temperature.
NXF1 series DC-DC converter. Features include: reinforced in-
sulation to UL60950 recognition pend- ing, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 recogni- tion pending, output regulation of less than one percent, and embedded core SMT construction. The embedded magnetic core technology offers excel- lent electrical and isolation perform- ance for high-reliability applications. Applications include alternative ener- gy and solar power, transportation, telecommunications and wireless
equipment, and medical devices. Contact: Murata Electronics North America, Inc., 2200 Lake
