Schleuniger Offers High-Precision Wire Processing Machines
Manchester, NH — Schleuniger is offering a range of wire processing systems, includ- ing laser wire stripping machines, cut and strip systems and benchtop wire stripping machines.
The Mercury-4 laser wire stripping machine, designed by Laser Wire Solutions strips wires and cables that range from 50 to 6 AWG ( 0.001 to 16 mm2). Using the color touchscreen, the operator selects the desired stripping parameters from the programmed library and all parameters (strip length, laser power, speed, etc.) are automatically set. Once the operator selects the re- quired program, the machine is ready for operation. The Mercury-4 can strip cables inserted into the supplied fix- ture aperture to an end stop, or with a custom fixture plate. A camera monitors the entire process. The Mercury-4 is designed for high-qual- ity, nick-free striping, along with powerful and flexible processing capabilities.
Schleuniger’s EcoStrip 9380 offers a complete feature set at an economical price point. It can be con- figured with rollers or belt transports and the configuration can be quickly and easily changed by the operator. The three-position design of the optional belt feeding system further enhances the customer’s capabilities and can be set for normal mode, roller mode or short mode processing, depending on the application. The EcoStrip 9380 combines the latest technologies with Schleuniger’s preci- sion, making it easier than ever to process a wide range of entry level applications

placement machines. The line is designed to highlight ASM’s attrac- tive portfolio for mid-range solutions. The line balances precision, speed and flexibility and new powerful options for both machines, such as onboard PCB inspection for the E by SIPLACE.
The SIPLACE TX micron offers a combination of benchmarks which make it an attractive solution for both SMT applications, as well as more challenging, increasingly in- demand advanced packaging pro- cesses. It offers exceptional speed of up to 78,000 CPH while placing the smallest of components, such as 008004s (0201 metric), fine-pitch components or bare dice with accura- cy ratings of 0.6 mil (15 μm) at three sigma in highly dense placement areas.
