Dance (continued)

Students on a backstage tour of Bath Theatre Royal with Mrs Henderson.

RAMBERT DANCE COMPANY:

GHOST DANCES TRIP On Wednesday the 11th October, thirty KS4 and KS5 Dancers set off to Southampton to see Rambert Dance Company peform. The Mayflower in Southampton played host to Britain’s most popular contemporary dance company, where they performed the three works from their repetorie. Most famously Christopher Bruce’s ‘Ghost Dances’, a piece studied in detail at Alevel. This was a beautiful night of exceptional choreography and performance.

PRICILLA: QUEEN OF THE DESERT

It was time again for our super amazing, talented Mrs Henderson to take to the stage and show our Performing Arts students just how it is done! On the 16th November, The Bath Theatre Royal allowed our students access to a private backstage tour of the theatre and to see behind the scenes of the latest show ‘Pricillia: Queen of the Desert’. Students were dazzled by

glitter, sequins and the glamour of the show and were able to perform the finale choreography on stage with members of the cast. Mrs Henderson made us so proud and our students were in awe of her incredible singing and dancing which was truly amazing. We are so lucky to have Mrs Henderson teaching our students just what hard work and dedication can achieve.
