MATHEMATICS YEAR 11 REVISION MATERIALS
With the Year 11 mocks taking place at the beginning of January many of the year 11 students will have taken the opportunity to buy revision materials to further support the AQA revision and workbooks that the Maths department has provided them with this month (any student without these 2 aids should contact Mrs Ball).

YEAR 11 PARENTS’ INFORMATION EVENING
On Tuesday December 5th we will be holding a Information Evening specifically for those parents with year 11 students. The evening aims to aid preparation for both the mock exams and the GCSEs
in the summer. We hope that you will find the sessions informative and as a result feel confident in helping your child through this testing process.
KEY STAGE 3 MATHS CLUB - CHAOS AND THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
Mrs Wallbridge and Miss Cummings offer this club to all Key stage 3 students every Tuesday from 3 to 4pm. It involves applying maths to more practical activities.
KEY STAGE 3 STEM CLUB
Mrs Scott is continuing to run an after school club on a Thursday from 3 to 4pm. This focuses on applying mathematics to a non-classroom environment.
SENIOR MATHS CHALLENGE
On 7th November, students in year 12 and 13 took part in the UKMT Senior Maths challenge. This competition is participated in by students all across the UK and involves answering a variety of multiple choice questions designed to stretch and challenge students through mathematics, reasoning and logical thinking.
