YEAR 11 REFLECTING ON THE END OF YEAR 10
Summer Term Rewards Trip At the end of the summer term pupils who had 100% attendance, top 5 achievement points in each tutor group and who had made good progress were rewarded for their efforts with a trip to the New Forest Water Park. It was great to see the pupils trying a new challenge and enjoying themselves outside of the classroom.
Summer Rewards Assembly Lots of fun was had in our Disney themed rewards assembly! Pupils were given awards from their subject teachers, for 100% attendance and tutor awards. Along with this there was lots of singing and tutor activities.
WELCOME TO YEAR 11
I have been so proud of the resilience and ambition year 11 have shown when faced with the new challenges at the start of this crucial year.
We wanted to show year 11 that we are here to support them every step of the way and that we are one team moving forward, so we took the year group to Cumberwell Golf club in Bradford upon Avon for a ‘welcome lunch’. The pupils had a motivating speech from Mr Solomons and were then treated to a two-course lunch. It was lovely to be able to see the pupils outside of the classroom but still in a formal setting. The pupils were amazing and I was very proud to see what wonderful young adults they are becoming.
