MIRTEC Displays Full Line of 3D AOI and SPI Systems
Oxford, CT — MIRTEC is presenting its complete lineup of 3D AOI and SPI systems, including the MV-6 OMNI 3D AOI machine, MS-11E 3D SPI machine, MV-7 OMNI-QHD 3D AOI machine, and others. The MV-6 OMNI is configured
with MIRTEC’s exclusive OMNI- VISION® 3D inspection technology, which combines its proprietary 15 MP CoaXPress cameras with a digital multi-frequency quad moiré 3D sys- tem, in a newly-designed, cost-effec- tive platform. The digital multi-fre- quency quad moiré technology is designed to provide true 3D inspec- tion using a total of four program- mable digital moiré projectors. It yields the precise height measure- ment data needed to detect lifted component and lifted lead defects as well as to verify solder volume post- reflow. Fully configured, the MV-6 OMNI has four 10 MP side-view cameras in addition to its 15 MP top-down camera. The company’s MS-11E 3D SPI
machine is also configured with a 15 MP CoaXPress vision system, provid- ing enhanced image quality, superior accuracy and fast inspection rates. The machine uses dual-projection shadow-free moiré phase shift imag- ing technology to inspect solder paste depositions on PCBs post screen print, detecting insufficient solder, excessive solder, shape deformity, shift of depo- sition, and bridging. The MS-11E is built on the same robust platform as the MV-6 OMNI series. The MV-7 OMNI-QHD 3D AOI
machine contains the next generation of the company’s OMNI-VISION 3D inspection technology within its high- performance AC servo drive platform. This system uses the company’s quan- tum high-definition (2048 x 1536) dig- ital multi-frequency 3D projection technology to provide quality images, accuracy and repeatability.
