Pacific Power Source Introduces Programmable AC/DC Power Supplies
Irvine, CA — Pacific Power Source has launched its new AFX series of programmable AC and DC power supplies. AFX models are available
in power levels ranging from 9 to 60 kV. All models are based on a propri- etary, all-digital, power conversion technology platform that supports a
set of formerly unavailable features and capabilities used in programma- ble power sources. This includes a direct-coupled output that allows for AC output, DC output or AC and DC combined output modes. All AFX models have

active power corrected AC inputs with a wide input volt- age range that can be deployed anywhere in the world. Volt - age, waveform, current, power, phase and frequency are all programmable and come with 99 non-volatile setups that can be stored for quick recall as part of a test protocol, reducing remote control overhead. include a 15 to 1,200 Hz frequency range, single 300V rms constant power mode voltage range, program- mable rms or DC, peak current limit functions, and compatibility with Pacific Power’s UPC Studio Windows control software. These capabilities are easily controlled by the user through an intuitive front panel with a large, full-color, LCD display. For

San Diego, CA — Pulse Electronics Corporation has introduced a new generation of FluidWRITER™ print- ers that create printed electronics directly on 3D surfaces. The new printers incorporate the company’s FluidANT™ technology that enables the use of conductive ink to produce high-performance antennas, sensors and electrical circuits on 3D sur- faces. FluidANT uses affordable micron-particle inks on standard plastic substrates, enabling new integration possibilities, and extend- ing industrial design flexibility. This technology delivers significant cost savings, and enables rapid prototyp-
ing through adjustable program- ming. Production benefits include rapid ramp-up, short process time, and simple logistics with a quick con-

FluidWRITER IV R&D tabletop model is an affordable entry-level option to printing and printed prod- uct development. It offers the same capability to print on 3D surfaces as a production model, but with a limit- ed maximum printing speed and only one rotational axis for fixtures to hold workpieces. The FluidWRITER IV produc-
tion model is designed for high-speed, high-precision production operations that require the capability of printing on 3D surfaces. The printhead is based on a linear three-axis motion system and printhead operation is synchronized to real-time motion for precision dosing at high speeds. A dig- ital 3D offset setting together with advanced control software enable accurate printing on a rotary three- dimensional surface. Two rotational axes are available for mounting fix-
tures to hold parts to be printed. Contact: Pulse Electronics
