Cincinnati, OH — Cincinnati Sub-Zero (CSZ) has introduced its TCB-1.3 benchtop vibration table, designed for the reliability testing of compact elec- tronics. The dual-purpose system is available in a 16 x 16 in. (40.6 x 40.6 cm) table size and may be used as a standalone vibration table for vibration testing or placed inside an environmental chamber for combined vibration and temperature testing. Equipped with an all-axis vibration system,


the TCB-1.3 makes use of four pneumatically-actu- ated vibration hammers, providing six degrees of freedom (6DoF) random vibration — x-, y-, and z- axis and roll, pitch and yaw rotation. The chamber comes standard with two accelerometers, one for control, and one vibration monitor with a vibration range of 1 to 60 GRMs. Design includes a removable lid and an easy lift-off control console to allow the table base to be


placed inside a typical 16 ft3 (0.45m3) or larger cham- ber and can be operated in a temperature range of –70 to +168°C (–94 to +334.4°F). Random vibration technology combined with an environmental cham- ber provides a cost-effective method to perform com- bined temperature vibration testing. The chamber is equipped with 115V electrical


plug for easy installation. Standard features include vibration safety limit, audible alarm, and 2 in. (5 cm) access port. The vibration table incorporates CSZ’s EZT-


570S touchscreen controller, equipped with such state-of-the-art features as automated alarm text/e-mail, remote monitoring and control, data logging, and trend plotting. CSZ’s VibTrak™ soft- ware offers full control of the CSZ environmental chamber and benchtop table. The software also

R&DVaporTech Redesigns Vapor Phase Reflow System


Burnsville, MN — R&D VaporTech, a subsidiary of IBL Technologies, is showcasing its newly redesigned RD52 in-line vapor phase reflow sys- tem. Among other enhancements, the system offers improved profiling and communication capabilities along with a multi-zone convection preheat section and multiple vapor preheat settings. The RD52 has been designed to


accommodate medium-volume multi- shift production and medium-to- large sized products in a left-to-right fully-automated product flow. The system provides consistent, uniform and reliable heat transfer for high- quality reflow. With a working enve- lope of 20 x 18 x 1.5 in. (500 x 450 x 40 mm), the RD52 contains a three- stage in-line conveyor system for fully-automated operation. The company has also reduced


the fluid fill requirement of the new system over the previous version by 25 percent, along with a reduction in energy use. The system includes onboard


working fluid filtration as well as an auxiliary holding tank. In addition,
