February, 2017 Dispense Works Develops Robotic Mold-Filling Conveyor
McHenry, IL — Manually filling and handling molds with plastisol and other fluids can be an extremely labor-intensive under taking. Dis - pense Works has developed the benchtop RC series robotic con- veyor system to both streamline this type of production and increase dispensing accuracy. The RC series includes the
company’s popular gantry robot with an integrated slip roller conveyor system. The entire three-axis motion system strad- dles the dispensing plane in a rigid structure, saving space in the design. The modular system accommodates up to 16 valves, allowing it to be used for multi- ple color applications. The system is pre-programmed

Hemco Corp. Expands Line of UniMax Hoods
Independence, MO — Hemco Corpor - ation has expanded its line of UniMax fume hoods containing fire suppression systems to meet Cali - fornia requirements. Standard mod- els range from 6 to 24 ft (1.8 to 7.3m) wide, 4 to 8 ft (1.2 to 2.4m) deep, and 7 to 16 ft (2.1 to 4.9m) high. Tall apparatus and distillation processes, roll-in reactors, or long integrated instrumentation systems can be eas- ily accommodated. The fume hoods are constructed
of chemical-resistant, non-conductive modular panels with composite resin surfaces. This modular design allows for onsite assembly and the ability to disassemble at a later time, move and reassemble the hood. Custom sizes and designs are available and built to exact specifications.
