Departure Dates – Tour departs on selected Saturdays and is based on a minimum of 2 passengers travelling.





Sightseeing – As detailed, including entrance fees. To avoid the midday heat, early morning starts are often made for sightseeing, especially during the summer months.

Cruise Boat – Please note that you will be advised of the name of your cruise ship upon arrival in Luxor. All 7 of the Presidential Nile Cruise boats are similar in style offering the same amenities and high level of service.

At certain times of the year, particularly in the winter months, the day-to- day itinerary is subject to change due to low water levels on the Nile.


Travel amongst the tombs, monuments and temples of the ancient kings and queens of Egypt and you’ll be transported to a desert land full of magic and beauty. This exploration begins in the busy streets of Cairo and presents a fascinating insight into the culture, traditions and people that live along the banks of the great River Nile.


Day 1: London Heathrow – Cairo Take a direct, afternoon flight on EgyptAir from London to Cairo. Meet your guide and transfer to the Amarante Pyramids Hotel which will be your home for the next 3 nights.


Days 2-3: Cairo – Giza – Saqqara – Memphis The capital of Egypt is a bustling hive of activity and you’ll quickly find yourself acclimatising to the warm and friendly nature of the locals. The first couple of days of your Egyptian adventure can be spent at leisure exploring the many fascinating historic sites and attractions that are prevalent throughout Cairo and the surrounding area such as the Pyramids and the city’s marvellous museum. Day 4: Luxor – Nile Cruise After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly to Luxor with EgyptAir before embarking before embarking on the Presidential Nile cruise boat for the next 4 nights. Visit the fabulous temples of Karnak and Luxor – the greatest outdoor museums in the world – before returning to your floating accommodation on the Nile. (B/L/D)


Day 5: Luxor – Esna – Edfu There is the option of experiencing an early morning balloon flight over the West Bank of Luxor, providing magnificent views. This morning cross to the West Bank of the Nile to explore the Valleys of the Kings and Queens. Archaeological explorations have uncovered over 60 tombs containing chambers and rooms built
