Day 1: London – Windhoek Depart Heathrow overnight on South African Airways to Namibia via Johannesburg.
Day 2: Windhoek Welcome to Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city where your journey begins. On arrival, transfer by road to the Casa Blanca Guesthouse. The rest of the day at leisure to discover Windhoek.
Day 3: Windhoek – Swakopmund Travel this morning to the beautiful Nambian coastline and Swakopmund. En-route visit a traditional local craft market in the colonial town of Okahandja. Experience the astonishing moon landscape – an undulating, stark, bare and inhospitable land popular for its likeness to the real
moon. Arrive in the town of Swakopmund in the afternoon with its palm-lined streets and great beaches. Overnight at the Brigadoon Guesthouse. (B/D)
Day 4: Swakopmund – Damaraland Depart early morning on the salt road towards Henties Bay, passing the extensive fields of lichen, that create a grey and black carpet giving a truly alien feel. Visit the astounding geological sights of Twyfelfontein – home to centuries-old engravings from early civilisation and the famous basalt Organ Pipes formed by the intrusion of volcanic rocks – stay for 2 nights at the Twyfelfontein Lodge.
