Day 1: London – Tokyo Fly overnight via Dubai on Emirates to Tokyo.


Day 2: Tokyo Arrive in Tokyo – Japan’s most populous city with over 12 million inhabitants – a scintillating fusion of glass and neon architecture, ancient Shinto shrines and elegant gardens. Stay 3 nights at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel.


Day 3: Tokyo Morning tour of Tokyo, beginning with a visit to the Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji (the first emperor of the modern era) and his wife – a peaceful oasis, sheltered by evergreens in the heart of modern Tokyo. Then visit the iconic Tokyo Tower, 13m taller than the Eiffel


Tower, it is the tallest of its kind and in good weather conditions you may see Mount Fuji. Also visit the Imperial Palace east garden, finishing at the shopping district of Ginza. The afternoon is spent at your leisure to further explore this unparalleled city.


Day 4: Mount Fuji and Hakone Travel in the morning to Mount Fuji, Hakone – Japan’s most popular national park. View the Five Lakes from the station, located 2,305m above sea level. After lunch enjoy a boat cruise on glorious Lake Ashi. Return for an evening at leisure in Tokyo. (L)


Day 5: Tokyo – Takayama Proceed in the morning to board the ‘Nozomi Super Express’ train to Nagoya and connecting on to
