Day 1: London – Delhi Overnight flight on Jet Airways from Heathrow to Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi Arrive in Delhi and stay at The Fern Hotel for 2 nights. The rest of the day will be at leisure with the chance to explore the bustling metropolis of Delhi with its colourful markets. Delhi combines the ancient with the modern – amidst the skyscrapers can be found many monuments standing as silent reminders of the region’s ancient legacy. (B)
Day 3: Delhi Transfer by metro train and begin sightseeing through Old Delhi the symbolic heart of metropolitan Delhi and the former capital of the Mughal dynasty visiting the stunning monuments of Seeshganj, Gurudwara, Chandni Chowk, Jama
Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques, and Raj Ghat. This is followed by an insightful tour of the current capital New Delhi – visit Qutb Minar the tallest stone tower of India and the complex of buildings for the Mughal emperor Humayun’s Tomb and Birla Temple. (B)
Day 4: Delhi – Ranthambhore Journey by train to Ranthambhore National Park which lies amidst the Arvalli ranges in eastern Rajasthan, a mix of lush valleys and rolling hills a favourite amongst photographers because of the chance of sighting the iconic tiger in breathtaking surroundings. Check in for 2 nights at the Ranthambore Regency. (B)
