Departure Dates – Tour departs on selected Fridays and is based on a minimum of 2 passengers travelling.

Sightseeing – As detailed, including entrance fees. To avoid the midday heat, early morning starts are often made for sightseeing, especially during the summer months.





Visa – The required Egyptian visa is not included in the tour price – details will be provided at the time of booking.

Cruise Boat – Please note that you will be advised of the name of your cruise ship upon arrival in Luxor. All 7 of the Presidential Nile Cruise boats are similar in style offering the same amenities and high level of service.





At certain times of the year, particularly in the winter months, the day- to-day itinerary is subject to change due to low water levels on the Nile.

Cruise along the Nile and watch villages and towns go by as you slip into a more sedate and refined pace of life. The classical ancient ruins, which can be found at various sites along your journey, are the very essence of Egypt. Regular stopovers enable you to discover some fascinating and spectacular man-made creations including the Temple of Karnak, the tombs of the Pharaohs and the magnificent Aswan High Dam.


Day 1: London – Cairo Take a non-stop flight to Cairo with EgyptAir before transferring to the Amarante Pyramids Hotel. (B)


Days 2-3: Cairo The first 2 days of your tour will be spent at leisure acclimatising and exploring the vast contrasts of Cairo. From ancient bazaars to the incredible structures of the Pyramids and Sphinx, you will find a whole host of excursions available to book locally. (B)


Day 4: Luxor – Nile cruise Leave behind the sites of Cairo as you transfer to the airport for the EgyptAir flight to the ancient city of Thebes which is now known as Luxor. On arrival transfer to your Presidential Nile Cruise boat for your 4 night cruise. Karnak is a unique


complex of sanctuaries, enlarged 1500 years ago and Luxor was built over 4,000 years ago around the site of Thebes. (B/L/D)


Day 5: Luxor – Esna – Edfu There is the opportunity early this morning to experience a hot air balloon ride, providing magnificent views of Luxor. Explore the tombs of the Pharaohs, known as the Valley of the Kings and Queens. There is also a fantastic opportunity to experience the Valley by bike as you explore completely at your own pace. Other sites include the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon sail to the ancient city of Esna. Continue to Edfu and moor overnight. (B/L/D)
