Afternoon is spent sightseeing in Hue with its tumultuous past, experiencing many buildings fallen victim during the American war, but those remaining provide a glimpse into the fascinating Nguyen dynasty from the 17th Century. Board a traditional vessel through Perfume River, climaxing with a visit to the spectacular Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue by road to the Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Stay 1 night at the Saigon Morin Hotel. (B/L)


Day 7: Hue – Saigon Fly to Saigon. Visit the Reunification Palace which is now preserved as a museum, including the famous underground communication bunkers and the War Remnants Museum. Next enjoy a fascinating visit to the bustling Chinatown area called Cholon (Big Market) where the


aromas of the local cuisine will entice you. Stay 2 nights at the Duxton Hotel in a Deluxe Room. (B/L)


Day 8: Saigon Enjoy a fully interactive, authentic Vietnamese cooking class; your teacher will accompany you to a local market to select your ingredients. Return to the kitchen, where you will be shown how to prepare and cook local Vietnamese cuisine, before sampling your dish! The afternoon is spent at leisure with an optional excursion available to the Cu Chi Tunnels. (B/L)
