Day 7: Chitwan National Park A chance to see wildlife such as the single-horn rhinoceros which Chitwan is famous for as well as over 50 species of mammal including Leopards, Sloth Bear and 400 species of birds. (B/L/D)


Day 8: Chitwan – Pokhara Drive to Pokhara in the morning, then spend the afternoon touring the city that has an incredible rising backdrop of the famous ‘fishtail’ of Mount Machhapuchhare and take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Phewa Tal. Stay 2 nights at the Pokhara Grande. (B)


Day 9: Pokhara Day at leisure in Nepal’s adventure capital; sample some of the local restaurants and bars, the city’s many temples or gain an insight into the ethnic mosaic of western Nepal in the famous Pokhara Museum. (B)


Day 10: Pokhara – Ghandrung Begin your fully-portered trek from Pokhara, the ideal way to experience Nepal’s unbeatable combination of natural beauty and culture, encountering small mountain villages surrounded by the magnificent presence of the Himalayan peaks –

Day 11: Ghandrung – Jhinu Danda Continue trekking through the day, finishing with the opportunity of bathing in the hot springs of Jhinu Danda. (B/L/D)


Day 12: Jhinu Danda – Pothana Your day of trekking will culminate with sunset in beautiful Pothana having reached an amazing altitude of 1,990m. (B/L/D)


Day 13: Pothana – Nagarkot Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise in Pothana; overlooking the lush forests and peaks of the Himalayas, grasping the expansive and pristine landscape. Later proceed by bus to Pokhara airport for your short flight to Kathmandu and transfer by road to Nagarkot. Stay for 2 nights at the Country Villa. (B)

Day 15: Nagarkot – Kathmandu Return to Kathmandu, with a visit to the timeless city of Bhaktapur City en route, with its cobbled streets and string of breathtaking temples, effortlessly blending the modern and the ancient. The afternoon is time to relax and reflect on your journey,


do any last minute shopping or explore more of this fascinating city. Enjoy a final dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel Himalaya. (B,D)


Day 16: Kathmandu – London Fly home from Kathmandu via Delhi back to Heathrow. (B)
