■ Discover the Famous Serengeti ■ Mount Kilimanjaro ■ Chill Out in Zanzibar ■ Explore Ngorongoro Crater ■ Tree-climbing Lions in Lake Manyara

Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar… the names roll off the tongue like a roster call of Africa’s most alluring destinations, all packed into one country. Tanzania is a land of contrasts and majesty; Africa at its most wild and unexplored. There is the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the sun-kissed beaches of Zanzibar and the vast herds of game grazing on the Serengeti plains. With so much natural wealth, it’s no wonder that Tanzania has something for everyone.

Home to around a quarter of Africa’s large mammals, there are lots of opportunities to see lion, antelope, elephant, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, rhino and many other species. Tanzania offers excellent game viewing all year round. The great migration takes place from Apr-Jun and Oct-Dec, with the dry seasons generally better for game viewing when the game concentrates around the water sources, however if you go in the green season (Apr-Jun and late Nov-Dec) there are low numbers of tourists, thus making your safari more exclusive, and the rains do not hinder game viewing. Bird watching is excellent year round, but the south is best at the height of the northern winter. With so many places to visit with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro you’ll look forward to relaxing on the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar.
