Day 7: Khajuraho – Agra In the morning explore the intricately carved temples of Khajuraho. Later you will head to Jhansi for a 4-hour train journey to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. Stay 2 nights at Mansingh Hotel. (B/L)


Day 8: Agra Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, built as a marble mausoleum for the Mughal King Shah Jahan’s favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal. Visit another of Agra’s world heritage sites, Agra Fort. Afternoon at leisure. (B)


Day 9: Agra – Jaipur Depart by road to Jaipur (approx 6 hours) en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Stay 2 nights at the Mansingh Hotel. (B)


Day 10: Jaipur Morning visit to Amber Fort by Jeep. The ancient citadel is revered for its unique architectural style. In the afternoon take a city tour of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, the City Palace and Jauhari bazaar. (B)


Day 11: Jaipur – Jodhpur Morning drive to Jodhpur (approx 7 hours) arriving in the afternoon. Stay for 2 nights at The Gateway Hotel. (B/L)


Day 12: Jodhpur Walk to Mehrangarh Fort. Explore the heart of the old city with its kaleidoscopic bazaar and meandering alleys. (B)


Day 13: Jodhpur – Udaipur Depart in the morning to Udaipur (approx 7 hours). Udaipur is probably Rajasthan’s most sublime and picturesque city. Stay at the Lotus Resort for 2 nights. (B)


Day 14: Udaipur Visit the City Palace, evoking the splendours of Udaipur’s golden age. This is followed by a walking tour of this seductive city. (B)


Day 15: Udaipur – London Internal flight with Jet Airways to Delhi and connect with your Virgin Atlantic flight to London. (B)
