REPRESENTATION Supporting our members, by offering our reps and employees…
•Blended learning approaches: Training plans comprised of eLearning foundation courses and face-to-face sessions (classroom and virtual delivery) at HQ and 10 regional locations.
•A dedicated Learning Hub site for our reps, detailing development pathways and the learning required for each.
•We source specialist learning e.g. IOSH, from independent providers when required. We can design and deliver bespoke courses to meet organisational demand, and, on occasion, requests from the wider policing community.
LOOK AT THE LOCAL WORK •We provide HQ employee & management development training, and compliance eLearning.

Expanding Training & Self-enrolment
Cognita, PFEW's Learning Management System, was introduced via a phased roll-out commencing in Q2 2022. Reps are now able to self-enrol to PFEW's rep training courses, subject to Branch approval. The LMS has also enabled reps and PFEW employees alike to access an extensive suite of off-the-shelf and bespoke eLearning.
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT Who we are:
A team of subject matter experts who design, deliver and source training for PFEW including reps, Branches and HQ employees. We provide vocational, behavioural, systems and management courses to meet the requirements necessary to perform their roles in supporting our members. (e.g. Conduct, Equality, Advocacy, Ill Heath Retirement, CMS, Health & Safety, Trustee, Treasurer).
We offer expert knowledge and guidance on legislation to the National Board, Branches and reps, and act as a point of contact for all reps, post training.
