•Scoping outcomes for the member as Claim/Proceedings progresses.
Solicitor Liaison
Hearings LOOK AT THE LOCAL WORK
•Facilitating the flow of information between Legal professionals, the member and force Professional Standards Departments.
•Ensuring member receives regular updates.
•Attendance with the member, a visible support to the member during a process.
•Dealing with Disclosure Bundle (along with a Reg 30 Notice for Gross Misconduct Proceedings).
•Assess the situation to confirm the type of assistance required.
•Consider the exposure/frequency of dealing with the legal processes that could be involved.
•Listen and understand members’ concerns & instructions.
•Ensures the proceeding has been applied appropriately by the force, with all the necessary pre-requisites for the situation (i.e. Reg 17 Notice Police Conduct Regulations).
•Advising on interview process. £3K
