Recipe Modification
• Vegan: use any milk and yoghurt alternative, e.g. almond milk and soya yoghurt; use maple syrup instead of honey.
• Diabetic: omit honey. • Low-fat diets: use 0% fat or low-fat yoghurt; use low-fat or skimmed milk; omit honey.
Berry Blast Ingredients (serves 2)
y 225 g raspberries y 225 g blueberries y 1 ripe banana y 1 tablespoon honey (optional) y 150 ml milk y 150 ml natural yoghurt

y Weighing scales y Colander or sieve y Measuring spoons y Measuring jug y Blender
Method 1. Wash the raspberries and blueberries in a colander
or sieve and put them in the blender.
2. Peel the banana and cut it into 2 cm pieces. Add these to the blender along with the honey.
3. Pour in the milk and add the yoghurt.
4. Blend on a high speed until completely smooth. Serve in a glass.
Good Morning Mango

Recipe Modification • Coeliac: use gluten-free oats. • Vegan: use any yoghurt alternative, e.g. soya yoghurt.
• Low-fat diets: use 0% fat or low-fat yoghurt; use low-fat or skimmed milk.
Ingredients (serves 2)
y 1 ripe mango y 1 banana y 240 ml orange juice
y 125 ml natural yoghurt y 20 g porridge oats y 1 tablespoon almond butter

y Sharp knife y Chopping board y Measuring jug
y Weighing scales y Measuring spoons y Blender
Method 1. Using a sharp knife, slice the mango lengthwise on either side of the stone.
2. Score a lattice into the flesh, being careful not to cut through the skin. Gently push out the flesh, slice off the cubes and discard the skin. Cut the remaining flesh from around the stone.
3. Peel the banana and cut it into 2 cm pieces. 4. Put the mango, banana, orange juice, yoghurt, oats and almond butter into the blender. 5. Blend on a high speed until completely smooth. Serve in a glass.
