Could you tell us more about the recent Xanada Startup Contest? What was the criteria for entering and the competitive process for entrants?

quality of the team, their experience, and their readiness to bring impactful ideas to market. Te response was overwhelming, with over 250 applications from startups spanning diverse industries and geographies. Surprisingly, while our primary focus has been on the European market, we received significant interest from the United States. Tis diversity of ideas from gamification platforms to AI-driven engagement tools highlighted the depth of creativity and ambition in the global startup ecosystem.
Our evaluation process was rigorous yet supportive. After an initial screening to ensure alignment with our investment philosophy, startups went through a multi-stage process, including our signature ‘Crash Testing’ phase. Tis involved a detailed examination of their strategies, budgets, and growth plans. Additionally, we conducted one-on-one sessions to evaluate the founders' adaptability, problem-solving skills, and understanding of their competitive landscape. Te goal was not just to find strong ideas but to ensure the teams behind them were prepared for long-term success. Te results of this contest were both inspiring and validating.
Why did FTDx emerge victorious?
FTDx emerged as the standout winner among over 250 exceptional applicants. Choosing a single winner was far from straightforward, given the impressive range of submissions. Te entries spanned from seasoned teams with proven success to dynamic, ambitious newcomers introducing innovative ideas and fresh approaches to the table. But FTDx hit the mark with their professional approach and a solution that directly addresses a critical need in the iGaming industry: monetising underutilised traffic. Operators often face the issue of receiving traffic from regions where they aren’t licensed to operate, leaving valuable opportunities on the table. FTDx changes the game by providing a transparent, efficient solution-a marketplace for exchanging traffic across regions on fair, clear terms.
