A challenging trek to the natural amphitheatre of Nepal’s Annapurna Sanctuary
Discover a world of breathtaking mountain peaks on this exciting expedition to the vast natural amphitheatre of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Leaving the foothills we pass under the great bulk of Machhapuchhre and spend two nights at base camp. After the trek take time to explore the lakeside town of Pokhara and the busy streets of Kathmandu.
15 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour Kathmandu. Day 2 Kathmandu Morning trek briefi ng. Walk around the city’s colourful bazaars and temples. Day 3 Pokhara Drive to the lakeside town of Pokhara Days 4/5 Trek begins Trek through forests and terraces to reach Chommrong (2060m). Days 6/7 Teahouse Steep climb to the ridge at Sinuwa for tea before

Day 4 - 7hrs Landruk
continuing on to Deurauli. Day 8 Machhapuchhre Base Camp Enter the sanctuary ‘gates’ – between Machhapuchhre and Huinchuli – and trek to base camp (3720m). Day 9 Annapurna Hike to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) for views of the glacier. Days 10/11 Komrong Danda Begin our descent following a different route back to the foothills.
