Day walks from our villa to discover the classic landscapes of Tuscany


Beautiful cities, rolling hills and fi ne wines are all part of this walking holiday in Tuscany. We stay in a traditional villa in the heart of Chianti and enjoy walks through sun-drenched vineyards. We also explore the historic cities of Florence and Siena, visit the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano and sample the delicious local wine.


8 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour at Florence airport and drive to Castellina in Chianti, a charming medieval hilltop town. Day 2 Winelands Walk through the forests, vineyards and Chianti villages of the Greve area where ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ was fi lmed. Day 3 San Gimignano Walk countryside trails and see the magnifi cent sight of thirteen medieval towers, perched majestically on a hilltop. Explore the town of San Gimignano. Day 4 Siena Explore the beautiful city. Visit the famous Piazza del Campo, home to the Palio horserace and wander the maze of narrow streets.

Day 5 Chianti Walk through vineyards and Tuscan villages. Optional wine tasting tour. Day 6 Florence Spiritual home of the Renaissance, the city is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Italy. Explore the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Day 7 Tuscan countryside Walk through Castellina Forest and across rolling hills with distant views of the towers of San Gimignano and Siena. Day 8 Tour ends Florence airport.
