Enjoy walks along Corsica’s beautiful coast and inland from traditional Corte.
Staying in historic Ajaccio on the coast and in the heart of the island at Corté, we enjoy day walks through the Corsican countryside, hiking through pretty villages and spectacular valleys. We walk through the magnifi cent Gorge du Tavignano, with soaring mountain peaks on both sides. We also explore local markets, enjoy traditional Corsican foods and wines, and have the chance to visit the coastal town of Calvi.
8 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour in Ajaccio. Day 2 Coastal Walk Spend the morning sampling treats at the local market and enjoy some coastal walking before heading inland to Corte. Day 3 Gorge Du Tavignano Hike in the Gorge Du Tavignano, passing farmland, rocky riverside boulders and forests.

Day 4 Villages of the Venachese Take a train to Venaco and walk along granite paths back to Corte through chestnut forests and villages. Day 5 La Punta Zurmulu Ascend this small summit (862m) for views of the citadel. Day 6 Free day A chance to visit the coastal town of Calvi or relax and explore the

narrow streets of Corté. Day 7 Ajaccio Spend the morning in Corté before travelling back to the coast at Ajaccio for our fi nal night. Day 8 Tour ends Ajaccio.
