Steeped in mythological history Cyprus is a unique island. We discover its beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage as we trek through the Troodos Mountains and the Akamas Peninsula. In the Solea Valley we discover 12th century Byzantine churches and we explore the Tombs of Kings in Pafos. We also visit the Baths of Aphrodite, Kykkos Monastery and the Greco-Roman amphitheatre at Kourion.


8 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour Larnaka. Day 2 Lefkosia Tour the capital city including the Old Town. Travel to the Troodos Mountains (1750m). Visit the 12th century Byzantine churches of Solea Valley and walk along forest trails to the hamlet of Agios Theodoras. Day 3 Troodos Villages Walk through cedar forests, almond groves, cherry orchards and verdant vineyards to Pedoulas village (1100m). Day 4 Baths of

Day 2 - 1.5hrs Troodos


Aphrodite Hike along forest tracks to Milikouri (800m). Visit Kykkos Monastery and a mouffl on breeding farm. Continue to the Baths of Aphrodite on the Akamas Peninsula. Day 5 Akamas Peninsula Enjoy a full day exploring this unspoilt region on foot. Day 6 Agios Georgios tis Pegeias Walk from Kathikas along forested trails and coastal paths passed Avagas Gorge to the small fi shing hamlet of Agios


Pedoulas Baths of Aphrodite


Georgios tis Pegeias. Discover isolated sandy beaches – where loggerhead turtles come to breed. Day 7 Larnaka Visit the Tombs of the Kings and House of Dionysis in Pafos, and the magnifi cent Greco-Roman theatre at Kourion. Return to Larnaka. Day 8 Tour ends Larnaka.

Baths of Aphrodite Tour essentials


Accommodation: 7 nights hotels. Meals: 7 breakfasts are included. Tour staff: Explore Tour Leader and drivers. Transport: Bus. Trekking Details: We walk for 4 full days (including one optional day) for an average of 5 to 7 hours each day and 1 part day.
