Views from Tumling camp/Claire Breakspear SIKKIM & SINGALILATREK
The highlight of this trek is our hike along the Singalila Ridge, with views over forested valleys to the magnificent high peaks of the Himalayas, including two of the world’s highest peaks - Everest and Kanchenjunga. When we are not walking we spend time in the Tibetan Buddhist monasteries of the Sikkim kingdom, sample tea in Darjeeling’s vast plantations and experience Kolkata’s distinctive colonial heritage.
