Coffee Bay DRAKENSBERG & WILD COAST TRAILS
This trekking adventure takes us along coastal trails, mountain peaks and into the tribal villages of South Africa. We explore Drakensberg and walk to Thabana Ntlenyana (3482m) – the highest point in southern Africa. We also trek along the Wild Coast, an untouched wilderness of undulating hills, verdant forest and sandy beaches.
ITINERARY
Days 1/2 Fly to Johannesburg (South Africa). Drive to Moolmanshoek. Day 3 Moolmanshoek Private Game Reserve Meet the meerkats of the reserve and learn about the conservation project. Days 4/5 Basotho villages Trek from Malealea to Basotho village in the Thaba- Putsoa Mountains. Days 6/7 Drakensburg Drive through the Lesotho Mountains to Sani Top (2874m). Optional hike to the summit of Thabana Ntlenyana (3482m). Days 8/10 Wild Coast Travel to the Atlantic coastline for a trek in this unspoilt area Days 11/12 Fly to the UK.
