Arche du Tavignanu HIKING IN THE ARDÈCHE

Set amongst rolling hillsides and vast forests, the Ardèche Gorge cuts deeply into the countryside. Sheer limestone cliffs drop over 300m to the main river which winds its way through fabulous scenery to hidden beaches and vast caves. Our walks take us to local vineyards, through the great pine forests where Robert Louis Stevenson trekked on his way to the Cevennes and the highlight – traversing the great Ardèche River.
