Dublin City University
Dublin City University has research collaboration links with a number of prestigious Chinese universities particularly in the information and communications technology area. DCU is ranked amongst the top 300 universities worldwide by the Times Higher Education Supplement and currently has over 10,000 registered students, including more than 300 Chinese students, across undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes. The School of Electronic Engineering in DCU and the International School of Software in Wuhan University have jointly established a successful collaborative masters program. The School has also research collaboration with Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Hangzhzou Dianzi University (HDU). The School has hosted visiting academic staff from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and China Three Gorges University (CTGU) for between six months and one year.

Griffith College
Griffith College has recently opened an office in Beijing and signed agreements with a number of different institutions across China, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Yangtze University. The College is Ireland’s largest independent third level institution and is recognised by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council. Today there are more than 8,000 students studying in Griffith College, of which more than 500 are from China. Griffith College offers both academic and professional programmes, full and part- time, short-term and long-term and from classroom to distance based. All its programmes enjoy external recognition and approval, and are taught by highly respected lecturers to give students an inspiring and rewarding education.
