Work with a partner to list 10 sayings you might expect to hear a parent say to a teenager.

1. (a) Amy has asked her mother countless times if she can go to the local disco. Her mother refuses to allow her to go, as she thinks that Amy is too young. This is the last disco of the year and Amy really wants to go. Work with a partner to write the dialogue that you think would take place in this scenario.
(b) Read over your dialogue and add stage directions. List some props you could include and the lighting, sound effects and costumes you could use to bring your scene to life.
