Investigate
1. As a class, organise a survey to fi nd out how First Year students use social media. Make a list of questions to include in your survey.
Break into groups to conduct the survey. Each group should ask a different question from the list.
When each group has completed their part of the survey, work together to gather and review the results as a class.
Create
Organise a class debate on the following motion: This house believes that you should be eighteen years or older in order to use social media. (For information on debates see pages 47–48.)
