1. (a) Many animals are abandoned in Ireland each year. Work in groups to research one of the following animal charities.

Try to fi nd out the following information about your chosen charity: where they are based how many animals they take in each year how many animals they successfully rehome what the public can do to help to rehome these animals or decrease the number of abandoned pets each year.
(b) When you have fi nished researching your chosen charity, work as a group to create a presentation, then present your fi ndings to the class.
