2. Carry out a class debate on one of the following motions: This house believes that young people have the right to say and post what they want online.
OR
This house believes that everyone has the right to free speech. (For information on debates see pages 47–48.)
3. (a) Write a dialogue between two characters who are speaking freely about something they are passionate about in the space provided on page 46 of your Portfolio. For example:
James: Rugby is too physical and too rough to be played by girls … they would have to change the game completely to suit the players.
Beth:
I can’t believe what I’m hearing! Of course it can be played by girls. Look at the Irish women’s team and their huge success internationally.
