in-cosmetics Korea returns to Seoul amid beauty industry boom


in-cosmetics Korea, the only exhibition dedicated to personal care ingredients in South Korea, will return to Seoul on 24-26 July. The event, which has already


sold all of its exhibitor floor space, is expected to attract over 3,500 visitors when it returns to the South Korean capital this summer. Over 275 companies – including


leading and emerging personal care manufacturers and suppliers such as Activon, Cellicon, Evonik, and Givaudan Active Beauty – will showcase new ingredients and technologies aimed at providing creative inspiration for the thousands of manufacturers in attendance. This year’s event will also host more new exhibitors than ever before, with over a quarter of all companies making their debut at the show. These include BoreA Canada, Cidols Korea, Jover Scientech, UAT, Shaanxi Yuantai Biological Technology, Lonhwa Effect Pigments, Disheng Technology and many more. Among the new companies


introducing their latest innovations will be Solabia with its ground-breaking ingredients for neurocosmetics: Serenibiome, which rebalances sensitive skin, Rhamnosoft HP which reduces redness and promotes comfort, and Solasense Fuse pearls, which offer a unique, happiness-inducing experience for youthful skin. Also debuting for the first time


will be Apeloa, the pharmaceutical industry integration platform of Hengdian Group. The company will highlight its


cosmetics range of UV Filters such as EHT, AVB, and DHHB, boasting superior quality control and cost efficiency. Additionally, Apeloa will present


visitors with it cosmetic-grade L-Serine, serving world-famous companies. Beyond the suppliers, attendees


can explore many different interactive areas, all with a focus on learning. in-cosmetics Korea prides itself on sharing knowledge, product development and progress in the personal care industry, brought to life through a series of features, zones, labs and activities on site.

The Innovation Zone is a must-

Showcasing the latest raw materials to hit the market in the last eight months, the area is split between active and functional ingredients, enabling attendees to navigate up-to-the- minute products and get up-to- date information on how to apply these to new beauty concepts quickly and easily. The K-Beauty Inspiration Zone


is an area dedicated specifically to Korean beauty. It comprises an Exhibitor Recommendation area where visitors can directly test ingredients and analyse the marketing strategies of each product. Cosmetic scientists will also be


able to discover the top 20 finished products and ingredients selected by the globally renowned research company Mintel. Additionally, the K-Beauty Open


Theatre will feature seminars and formulation demonstrations on the topic.


This year’s expanded Natural


Extract Zone will focus on clean beauty and sustainability. Growing consumer awareness of natural cosmetics and the desire of cosmetics companies to replace synthetic ingredients with natural variants are the main drivers of this growth. Representing countries such


as Korea, Canada, France, Japan, Brazil, and Singapore, this zone will feature suppliers of herbal and plant extracts, essential oils, and raw materials for dietary supplements including Shebah Biotech, Maha Chemicals, TriBeaute Inc and Plantus Industry to name a few.
