Mirage Glamour Space Silver: Brilliant sparkle
Cosmetic formulators are used to working under pressure. Glamour Space Silver, a mineral based effect pigment with a striking silver metallic brilliance and high coverage. This unique combination enables effects that were not possible before, especially for the lip area and in water-based applications.
Intense silver metallic effect To increase the coverage and the brilliance of pearl pigments which would otherwise be more transparent, Eckart has developed and patented diverse technologies in the last years. The intense silver metallic effect of Mirage Glamour Space Silver is the result of those innovative technologies and represents a huge contrast to conventional pearl pigments. Mirage Glamour Space Silver owes its name
to its flop from silver to black, combined with an icy bluish touch which reminds of starships cruising through the galaxy.

and can be easily adjusted to achieve effects from highlight sparkle to sheer coverage. Regrettably, its use may be restricted due to regulatory or technical reasons, for example in aqueous formulations. With Mirage Glamour Space Silver, it is
now possible to add silver metallic effects to any formulation. With its extreme sparkle and intense silver metallic colour, it will set accents in make up or hair care, give rinse-off applications a fancy luxurious touch or simply add sparkling topping effects. From a technical point of view, Mirage
Glamour Space Silver is very easy to work with: It is very stable in water, oil, and solvent based systems and in a wide pH range, so that formulations will stay stable and look good for longer. Additionally, it is easy to disperse, so that a previous surface treatment is not necessary, contributing to save time and money. Moreover, the effect of Mirage Glamour Space Silver is so intense, that effects are visible already at very low concentrations. Besides its effect, Mirage Glamour Space
Silver, is characterized by the smooth and pleasant skin feel typical of all Mirage pigments. This makes it gentle to skin and fosters consumer acceptance. Mirage Space Silver can be used pure to create metallic shimmer effects or in combination with other effect pigments to create diverse effects.
