Figure 4: A) Syn-Eye shows a significant anti-wrinkle efficacy in 7 days. The Syn-Eye results are getting better after 28 treatment days. B) Syn-Eye shows significant effect on skin smoothing in only 7 days. The Syn-Eye results are improving further after 28 treatment days.
European female volunteers (Age 35-55) for each group, test creams were applied two times per day. Smoothing effects and wrinkles were measured by DermaTop in the crow’s feet region. In addition, picture acquisition has been done under standardised light conditions at each measure point. The dark circle analysis has been performed with image analysis by Newtone Technologies, Lyon. Measurement days are day 0, day 7, day 14 and day 28. The four-in-one blend composition starts
to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles after the first seven days of treatments (Figs 3-5). The blend treatment showed 90% better anti-wrinkle results compared to benchmark and placebo at day 7 (Fig 4A). Additionally, texture and smoothing skin effects in only a seven-day treatment are significantly better. All treatment results were improving further at day 14 and day 28 (Fig 4B). Visibly brighter looking skin in the dark circle area was observed after a 14-day treatment (Fig 5).
Conclusion In summary, the new patented four-in-one blend, Syn-Eye, combines four bioactive ingredients to a multifunctional eye care

formulation. It offers a science-based approach to fight against eye region skin ageing – in particular the appearance of lines and wrinkles and dark circles. The first significant effects were observed after 7 days’ treatment. The developed Syn-Eye blend showed better study results compared to the competitive benchmark.
