According to the survey of 2022, Lithuanian payment market was divided as follows: ~59% for cards (mostly debit), which were the dominant method for online purchases, ~26% for digital wallets, which were especially popular among mobile users for smaller purchases, then ~10-12% for bank transfers, still widely used, particularly for larger transactions or B2B, and finally ~2-3% for “buy now pay later”. Also, Open Banking (PIS) was noted as rapidly growing.
