Fortune Gem series is one of TaDa Gaming's most popular game collections. Te descriptions for each entry all reference simplicity - would you say that is Fortune Gems' USP?
Straightforward and accessible is our core appeal. When we first designed Fortune Gems, we wanted anyone to be able to easily pick it up but without it feeling basic: so we built a 3x3 reel setup with relatively simple reward mechanics. Tis blend of easy-to-understand with potentially big rewards design subsequently has become the series’ hallmark. We also added multiple ways to achieve big payouts, such as special multipliers or surprise triggers to create that anticipation in slots that gives long-term engagement.
How quickly did TaDa Gaming decide that the original title merited a sequel? What factors determined that decision? Was it always the plan to create spin-off games?

Following Fortune Gems’ launch, we closely monitored user enthusiasm, retention metrics, and operator feedback. We were newly entering European and Latin American markets and both players and operators wanted new variations of the core experience. With the original game exceeding expectations, we began work on a follow-up. We were excited about the Fortune Gems concept and so had deliberately chosen a flexible theme to allow for future expansion.
Once we saw the data, we committed more resources to building a full-fledged series. Our data showed that some players prefer feature-rich, more complex slots, so in subsequent titles Fortune Gems 2 and Fortune Gems 3, we introduced new elements such as the Lucky Wheel and the symbol-splitting feature bringing in more depth and variety whilst maintaining that simple, intuitive core.
