ambient noise, but in a mobile setting, it can stand out. Our goal is always to make sure the sound supports the gameplay experience without overwhelming it.

How are the creative considerations for a Huff n' Puff sequel different from a legacy series like Rainbow Riches? Is the risk of experimentation more significant?

Huff N’ Puff is built around a central mechanic that defines the entire series: collecting six hard hats to trigger a free games feature with six spins. Tis mechanic is the heart of the franchise and must remain consistent across all titles to preserve the identity of the series.

We are currently working on the third instalment, Huff N’ Lots of Puff, which is set to launch later this summer. As we expand the series, we focus on building upon the original formula rather than changing it. Innovation comes through adding new features on top of the existing structure, not by removing or replacing the core mechanic.

Future titles may introduce new trigger methods, such as persistence pots, wheel bonuses, or the traditional six-symbol activation, but the foundational gameplay remains the same. If we were to remove those core mechanics, we would risk losing the essence of what makes Huff N’ Puff successful. While there is room to evolve, experimentation is always grounded in maintaining what players already love about the series.

Ultimately, what's the purpose of a Light & Wonder game sequel - maintaining legacy appeal with existing players or

attracting broader market interest?

With the Huff N’ Puff series, we are intentionally balancing two key goals: maintaining legacy appeal for existing players while also attracting broader market interest. Te evolution of the artwork is a clear example. Te original Huff N’ Puff featured a flat, charming, classic slot style, almost like a nostalgic relic. In the more recent titles, the same core characters, the wolf, the pigs, the familiar symbols, have been refreshed with modern, semi-2D visuals to align with today’s design expectations.

Tis reflects our broader strategy. We aim to modernise the presentation while preserving the charm, familiarity, and brand identity that made the original so successful. It is a common approach in many industries, keeping the logo and colour palette intact while updating the look and feel to stay current. We are applying that same principle to Huff N’ Puff, honouring its legacy while ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for today’s players.

What's next in the expansion of Huff N' Puff?

We have already released Huff ‘N’ More Puff, and Huff N’ Even More Puff is set to launch around April or May. Huff N’Lots of Puff is targeted for late summer, which is likely to be August or September. Looking further ahead, we have Money Mansion planned for Q4. Beyond that, games like Huff N’ Puff: High Rise and Huff N’ Puff: Grand are also in the pipeline. All of these will be making their way to the digital world over the next 18 months.
