Paul Steelman is recognised as a visionary designer of global entertainment, hospitality, and gaming architecture. He has designed buildings for famous members of the gaming industry, including Kirk Kerkorian, Steve Wynn, Sheldon Adelson, and Stanley Ho. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Steelman Partners is an international architectural and interior design firm specialising in the multi-disciplinary facets of entertainment architecture, interior design, graphic design, lighting, and branding. Renowned completed projects include: Circa Resort and Casino, Four Seasons Macau, Sands Macau, Galaxy Macau, Te Grand Ho Tram, Solaire Manila, Venetian Macau master plan and Cotai Central master plan.
Steelman Partners has been involved in designing some of the most iconic casinos in the world. Could you tell us about any new casino projects you might be working on?

Steelman Partners recently opened Circa in Downtown Las Vegas to tremendous success.

Te company will open Resorts World Las Vegas sometime in 2021.

Steelman Partners are the Interior Architects/ Designers Lighting Designers for Naga 3 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Te company is part of a design team assembled for Nagasaki with Pixel and Groupe Partouche.

Steelman Partners designed the winning bid for Inspire Athens, the first Integrated Resort in Europe.
How do you think casino floors will change in the years to come? Could you highlight some of the architectural changes you expect to see long term as well as changes that you might be

seeing now? Are you implementing any significant changes to gaming floors now?

Gaming floors will change drastically over the next several years. World sports betting will integrate into the casino floors like we did at Circa. Casinos will realise that a theatre sportsbook in your casino is like having a Beyonce concert 84 days a year. We have also found that a younger audience is attracted to sports betting.
Gaming floors will also be the home of digital platforms and betting on your phone. We see

the partial elimination of expense equipment and the integration of your phone into a unique gambling experience.
We see the elimination of chips/cashiers as digital wallets are linked with the game.

We predict the elimination of Casino Club Counters, everything will be done on your phone.
l
More casino buildings (not only the casino floor) will shift to over 21 for a host of reasons.
