Caesars to Invest US$400m in Atlantic City
Caesars Entertainment shared details on its $400m master plan investment in Atlantic City where it owns and operates three casino destinations.
Caesars Entertainment owns and operates Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Resort Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City.
NEW JERSEY OPERATIONS
NEW JERSEY – Scientific Games has launched its mobile sports betting solution with Golden Nugget Online Gaming in New Jersey. The deployment will see Golden Nugget’s customers benefit from the OpenSports product suite and managed trading services from Don Best Sports, as the operator migrates onto Scientific Games’ sports betting technology. This includes the launch of a native iOS application that allows users to enjoy a unified experience and navigate through Golden Nugget’s full offering through a single app.
Last month, Golden Nugget launched online casino and digital sports betting content in Michigan with Scientific Games, allowing players in ‘the Mitten State’ to experience a wide range of in-house and third-party content and wager on sports via the OpenSports and OpenGaming platform. ARIZONA – Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has signed historic legislation and an amended tribal- state gaming compact that will modernise gaming in Arizona, bringing sports betting via licences issued to tribes and pro sports teams and adding additional table games at tribal casinos, including Baccarat and craps. It will also allow gambling on fantasy sports and see new Keno games introduced at horse race tracks. Governor Ducey marked the culmination of a multi-year effort to modernise the industry that has become a mainstay of the state’s economy since 1992 supporting 38,000 jobs.

Caesars Entertainment has shared details on its $400m investment in Atlantic City where it owns and operates three of the region's preeminent casino destinations – Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Resort Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City.
Te plans include remodeled room towers; freshly appointed interior design elements; enhancements to the casinos' gaming floors; new dining concepts with restaurant partners; and many more additions within the next three years. Tese developments will bolster the City's position as a Las Vegas-style destination market with a focus on revitalising the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Te first phase of the project, a $170m renovation of guestroom and suites at Caesars and Harrah’s, will debut this summer.

Beginning with approximately 600 guest rooms and suites in Caesars' Centurion and Ocean Towers, as well as Harrah's Atrium Tower, the remodel will see the towers offer accommodations with spectacular views and fresh design elements in rooms ranging from 450-700sq.ft per room.
At Caesars, the designs will feature a modern Roman aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the local Atlantic City scenery, including the beach, ocean and Boardwalk. Te guest rooms and suites will feature rich hues of blue and cream accent colours, contrasting white and gray tones, and contemporary furniture, including modern bathrooms with oversised showers, mirrors, and signature amenities.
At Harrah's Resort, design inspiration was drawn from the casino's upscale, yet accessible brand of hospitality, playing off the resort's sophisticated Marina District locale.

Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is a landmark property in gaming’s history. It is the first tribal gaming licence issued to a Native American tribe to operate a casino in Las Vegas.

Michigan online sportsbooks set fresh records for handle and revenue, reaching nearly $400m in online and retail bets in March and surpassing $30m in online revenue, while online casino revenue approached $100m. “With nearly $1bn in lifetime bets now, it's hard to understate just how unprecedented Michigan's gaming expansion has been so far," said Dustin Gouker, analyst for
PlayMichigan.com. "Te growth in online casino gaming has been off-the-charts. No other state has enjoyed a launch of online casino gaming and sports betting quite like this.” Te NCAA Tournament spurred Michigan's online sportsbooks to $359.5m in handle. Tat total was up 19.1 per cent from $301.9m in February. Combined with the state's $24.2m retail handle, which was released last week, Michigan's online and retail sportsbooks collected $383m in bets.
