Gaming spaces are evolving and will cater to new

While the major movie studios are anxious to launch their big “event” films in cinemas, and gaming manufactures are eager to launch their new games in some of the most spectacular gambling venues in the world, both need to work extremely hard to ensure that land-based locations do not become a niche market for enthusiasts.

Coin-op arcades went in exactly this direction in the early nineties, sparked by the ability of players to play video games at home via consoles and PCs. customers as well as older customers alike. Casinos will be able to bring back the fun and excitement of gambling and the social nature of gaming once social distancing ends and it will do so in new and innovative ways.

will cater to new customers as well as older customers alike. Casinos will be able to bring back the fun and excitement of gambling and the social nature of gaming once social distancing ends and it will do so in new and innovative ways. Casinos will allow for mobile betting on casino floors and an increase in social casino games offerings, while the architecture of gambling spaces will adapt to encompass the whole new philosophy driving casino floor design that has been emerging for some time.

Some immediate trends are already apparent. More states will approve mobile gambling in the United States in order to raise much needed revenue. Cashless payments will become more widespread. Slots are being configured to provide more distance, and changes are on the way in which long-term land based casino environments are likely to change significantly over the coming years.

So what will a casino actually look and feel like? We talk to some of the worlds leading experts to see how physical gambling environments will change in the years to come.
