SIEL PARIS

February 4 - 6 saw Siel celebrate its 30th anniversary. Held at the Grande Halle de la Vaillette, in Paris, France, the show has taken a break in recent years, but this was the second year Siel had been held at this venue.

French manufacturer APG showed its modular line array system, Uniline and on www.mondodr.com

the second day of the show APG’s CEO, Gregory Dapanse and Product Design Engineer, Mathieu Delquignies gave a presentation on the system’s capabilities and concepts behind the Uniline.

Apex Audio France held DiGiCo training sessions on the SD5 console followed by a Q&A session. Elsewhere, Soundcraft orchestrated registration-free speed training classes on its new Si Performer product, which was launched at PLASA last year. Soundcraft state that 15 minutes is all that’s needed to grasp the technology this audio and lighting combined product.

Bordeux-based Kinesik showed its P9 Curve Series, featuring a small pixel resolu- tion and the option of concave or convex assembly. It can also be set up in a giant
