Meyer Sound showcased the new CAL column array loudspeaker, which provides precise coverage control and exceptional speech clarity while minimising unwanted refl ections. Users of the Meyer Sound M Series loudspeakers also learnt about Galileo Callisto, a new signal processing and loudspeaker management system designed to make precision array calibration faster and easier. Midas demonstrated its PRO Series of desks, alongside the Klark Teknik DN9650 and DN9652 Network bridges. The company launched the smallest of its PRO Series - the PRO1 - at InfoComm Las Vegas in 2012, followed by its European debut at London’s PLASA in September. Optocore launched the fi rst of a new range of dedicated MADI switches. The company believes it to be the best solution for the professional AV market - largely because it is now a common standard - with MADI ports frequently used by manufacturers to offer clients a future-proofed, open platform with price advantages. A host of new display and projector innovations were on show from Panasonic.
